For the Hemple family, home sweet home is not so sweet.
Mark and Julie Hemple are keen to sell their three-bedroom end of terrace house in Cricklewood, North West London, so they can move to be closer to Julie’s job in Watford.
Their property was initially listed for £475,000. They have already dropped the price twice, but it has not sold so far.
Comparable properties in the local area are selling in good condition for up to £475,000 and yet the Hemple family are struggling to attract acceptable offers despite the fact that their property in now on the market for at an asking price of £435,000.
